I use Trinity's wireless network in many different ways. Some ways I use it include being able to sit outside and listen to lectures online. I like how I am not limited to internet access whether I'm inside a building or sitting at a picnic table. I also use the network whenever I meet up with friends to do some studying as we pick different spots to meet around the campus. I use the wireless network on a daily basis. Before I get started on my homework I usually check my Facebook but after that I'm ready to get started. I don't necessarily find Facebook or any other website too distracting because eventually I can get on them whenever I do have some free time. I think overall the wireless network here at Trinity is a great help towards my academics. I am able to pull up articles, listen to lectures, check my Trinity e-mail, as well as get some online practice for some classes!
Here is a great article I found online at the New York Times webpage where wireless networks are discussed on college campuses. http://www.nytimes.com/library/tech/00/04/circuits/articles/20camp.html

I probably have a similar routine to you Ashley :) I find it hard to get distracted by things such as Facebook, because the amount of academic work really is piling up, and my conscience kills me if I'm on Facebook for more than a few minutes!!
Ashley, I really liked your entry and your link. I haven't seen anyone else use that one yet. Trinity's campus seems pretty similar to the school in that article. I love that we can go anywhere and still be online.
